New changes probably aren't necessary for most people. Post added at 06:44 PM - Just a few examples of mods I'm watching for updates now.įorge build #311 was published yesterday. I included the official websites and threads where the releases are made available so you can update things on your own if you wish. Once they're released I'll update the list. Right now a new Computercraft version is being tested along with a new Railcraft version. I will also be updating the list periodically, maybe once a week, as new versions come out and more mods are finished. The mods have had significant upgrades since then including many new machines and functionality. The main advantage to using mods from this list is they're all updated for 1.3.2 where as Tekkit is still using the old Minecraft version. As far as I know all these mods work for SMP as well. One question though, do you have any experience running your modlist as an "opened to LAN" style multiplayer game, and if so, how well do they run? The main reason I have stayed faithful to the Tekkit builds is their easy config on a server environment, however I would like to start modding my vanilla install to play some other stuff with a friend over a local network, with a view to finally getting a list of acceptable mods for our soon-to-be-custom private server.I haven't had any experience running with LAN no. If you're interested in learning how to set up Profiles properly with 1.6.4 and beyond then check out Greevir's video guide. If you wish to see something added, let us know!.If a mod is bugged then telling the mod author is probably better than telling me. Please report bugs to the appropriate place. It's impossible to test every version of every mod.Always backup your world folder as well as your mods and config folder. If you have any questions about the mods or their installation please feel free to post and we'll try to help. Please see below the list for install instructions as well as config downloads that will help. This list is maintained by Fuzzzie with the help of his friends. The list is kept up to date frequently and contains many of the most popular mods in the Minecraft community.
